A two-day break
Two days is just enough time to experience some of the delights of Breda. The first day could be spent vsiting the luscious Valkenberg (Falcon's Mount,) a park where royals once used to hunt falcons. Spend the afternoon exploring the Castle of Breda and its impressive moat. In the evening, visit one of the city's many restaurants before taking the short trip back to your Hotel Campanile Breda. On your final day head to one of the cafes for a morning tea before making your way to the grand finale, The Great Church of Our Lady, a spectacular gothic church built between 1269 and 1547.
A week long-stay
A week gives you plenty of time to discover Breda at your own pace and experience what makes this city so charming. Explore the green paradise that is Mastbos, a nature reserve just outside the city, with its beautiful lakes. Culture lovers will adore Begijnhof, one of the oldest Beguinages (small buildings inhabited by Roman Catholic sisterhoods) in Amsterdam. Explore the historic buildings and discover their legends.
A Family Holiday
Breda is a beautiful city which can be enjoyed by the whole family. Take a stroll down by the river or spend a day in the Graphic Design Museum where art comes alive. There are children's workshops, held during the summer, where the kids can create their own graphic designs. There is also a range of fascinating exhibits.
