Our first night was a nightmare ... noise from the busy roads and party animals returning to their rooms at 4.30am, plus one uncomfortable bed! Reception staff were very helpful...
Our first night was a nightmare ... noise from the busy roads and party animals returning to their rooms at 4.30am, plus one uncomfortable bed! Reception staff were very helpful though and moved us to a better location for the remainder of our stay. IF BOOKING HERE ASK FOR THE QUIET SECTION!!

They took money from my account twice and took forever to refund it. I rang them and they said it would take 3 to 5 working days like most transactions...
They took money from my account twice and took forever to refund it. I rang them and they said it would take 3 to 5 working days like most transactions it took almost double that excluding the weekend. Outdated hotel with RUDE staff. The bathroom was dirty. Stay away from this place.

Please do not stay here. I am normally positive when I write reviews but this hotel should be condemned. It is extremely dated in poor condition. It looks like a pow camp. It was dirty, the matresses were stained and torn. Carpet was dirty and stained. Cracking in the wash basin, the bath did not have a bath mat, very dangerous getting in and out of the bath, and because we were only given 1 towel each the floor became very slippery. The door did not lock properly and when I unplugged the kettle the electrical socket almost came away from the wall. The most concerning aspect was, there was a group of people, I believe they were Irish travellers staying in the room next door and at 1am were outside letting the children run up and down the path outside the room. When they did go inside a baby was crying and there was lots of shouting and banging on the walls. My friend and I felt very intimadated, I contacted reception and was told they would ring the room and ask them to be quite and if the noise did not subside they would call the police. Noise increased at 2am, I tried to contact reception but no on answered the phone...just had to put up with the noise. Hotel is appalling and I was so pleased to check out the next day.
